Settlement Reached In Blink 182 Learjet Crash

A Los Angeles judge approved a settlement in the death of Travis Barker's assistant who was killed when the learjet they were traveling crashed on takeoff killing Chris Baker and four other people. The aircraft accident made headlines around the world as the accident left Travis Barker and DJ AM severely injured with major burns on their body. DJ AM would later die of a drug overdose.

The settlement made give's Chris Barker's son $17 Million dollars over the course of his lifetime through an annuity. Chris Barker's widow will also receive $7.6 Million in the aircraft accident settlement.

The settlement was reached between Learjet inc.and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and other companies involved in the ownership,
